Freedom Fitness Cottleville FAQS
Do I need fitness experience to join Freedom Fitness?
No—we welcome all fitness levels. Whether you’ve never set foot in a gym, feel completely out of shape, or you’re returning after years away, this place is for you. Our trainers meet you exactly where you are and guide you every step of the way.
Will the workouts be too hard for me?
Not at all. Every workout can be modified to match your current fitness level. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, we adjust the intensity so you feel challenged—but never overwhelmed. Whether you’re in 1-on-1 personal training or group classes, our coaches tailor each workout to fit you.
Is there a contract or long-term commitment required?
No contracts over two months. You stay because you want to, not because a contract says you have to.
Can I try a class or training session before committing?
Yes! We offer a free first session with no obligation so you can experience the community firsthand.
What’s the difference between personal training and group personal training classes at Freedom Fitness?
Personal training is fully customized to your individual goals and history, while our group classes deliver coached, results-driven workouts in a fun community setting.
What makes Freedom Fitness different from a typical gym?
We focus on coaching, accountability, and community—not just access to equipment. Every workout is structured, guided by a coach, and designed to help you get results safely and efficiently.
Do you offer training for seniors?
Yes—we work with many older adults and design programs focused on mobility, strength, balance, and long-term health. Our coaches tailor every workout to your ability so you can stay active, feel strong, and move with confidence.
What if I have an injury or ongoing pain?
You’re in the right place. Our coaches are well-versed in training clients with injuries, chronic pain, and joint replacements. We modify exercises and build programs specifically for your situation so you can make progress safely. We’ve worked with many clients facing similar challenges and know how to help you move forward.
Do you offer youth fitness or sports performance training?
Absolutely. We offer Youth Performance and Speed & Agility programs for athletes ages 9+ at our Cottleville and Wentzville locations. For non-athletes, we also offer youth fitness training that helps kids build confidence, improve coordination, and gain knowledge that sets them up for a lifetime of health and fitness.
How much does a membership cost?
Pricing varies by location and program. Contact us directly or visit your nearest location for current offers.
Which Freedom Fitness location is right for me?
We have three locations in St. Charles County: Cottleville, Wentzville, and O’Fallon. Each offers personal training and group classes, with some unique programs per location.
What results can I expect in the first 3–6 months?
If you show up and stay consistent, you’ll see measurable results—fat loss, muscle definition, more energy, better sleep, and increased strength. Most importantly, you’ll build momentum. You’ll leave every session feeling better, stronger, and more confident, while being part of a community that motivates you to keep going.
I’ve tried other gyms and quit — what makes Freedom Fitness different?
We focus on building habits, community, and accountability — not just workouts. Many of our members say we’re the last gym they’ll ever join.
I’m currently on a GLP-1 medication — can you help me preserve muscle?
Absolutely. We work with clients using GLP-1s to ensure their program prioritizes muscle retention alongside fat loss.
